Afterschool Club
RCP Afterschool Club raises the bar with children’s view on their community and surroundings. Through the promotion of a welcoming, friendly and safe environment, RCP Afterschool Club’s intention is to keep children off the streets and drop crime rates by allowing the young people to have somewhere safe to go and engage with workers who will help/mentor their walk in life.
Parents also receive support for their child, are encouraged to be involved in their child’s development and receive regular progress reports for their child. Activities of all varieties are provided for which are fun and developmental and children also receive educational support through the daily Homework Club.
Activities include:
- Cinema nights
- Topic sessions / group sessions tackling gun and knife crime
- Confidence and motivating building
- Mentoring and 1:1 support
- Key workers provided for the young people
- Role play
- Media
- Arts and crafts
- Homework club
- Outdoor and indoor activities
